What's your favorite thing about being single? (80)
If its something I couldn't do with someone else around, she wouldn't be the right one for me, so I don't really have a favorite thing. I'm going to be me regardless, so lookout!! I'm going to play with myself, and leave the toilet seat 'down'; because, the cat, for some reason has a habit of falling in. I'm willing to change that if she likes to pee standing up

I think being single sucks. Especially when you're so used to getting up every morning and facing/sharing the day with someone.
Like having someone to share the good times, the bad and all the other in between times with.
You have noone to tell your problems to or share good news with.Someone to come home to to share the events of your busy work day with.
Someone to cuddle with on the couch and watch a romanic movie with.
Someone to hold hands with as you're taking a stroll in the park or a walk on the beach.
Someone to cook a very special meal for.
Someone to holler at because they leave the toilet seat up or when they dribble.
Someone to say those three little words" I Love You".
Someone to compliment you on how nice you look even if you're not your best.
Like having someone to share the good times, the bad and all the other in between times with.

I like it, course when you've spent a few years with a depressed person who won't do anything about it, it's easy to be happy alone.

One of the nicest things about being single is how it's taught me to love myself.
I don't feel empty if I eat alone.
I don't worry about who's going to get something done around the house.
I know I can take my time & be selective about a partner without going into a needy rant & ruining my friendships.
I don't freak out over little stuff & hide it behind other excuses.
I like my own company & I don't feel like I'm going to stop breathing just because I'm not making out with someone.
If I screw up a meal(hahahahaaa) I don't have to feel bad about tossing it out & eating grilled cheese.
That extra money I made last week can be used for cookies.
My jeans look good tossed on my chair, even if my cat lays on them.

being able to spend more time with my kids. It is much tougher being a single dad of 4 kids but i took my ex for granted on how much running she did with all the kids school events. I helped when i could but now i know i must leave work on time to get kids picked up and to next event.
it has brought my kids and i soo much closer and i love it. Wouldn't change that part at all.
But i still miss the simple touches, that simple contact...
