I have met a few very nice men but only after I made the first move.
These men have seen my picture read my profile but made no move yet are glad when I do. ???????

Maybe it is fear of rejection, but I think we all have that. I mean we have all made moves or attempts that don't always work out. I think they are rather unsure, or have had bad encounters on here.

Who knows. I have had guys that make the first move and then never make the second. confused Makes me think they are not for real or are just here to be entertained.

Yes I was thinking the same, women have had to deal with rejections too.
The worsed is for me when a man shows he likes you etc. and then..... nothing. Leaves me wondering if I said, did something they did not like?
What is wrong for man or woman to say; sorry but no longer interested?
I would much prefer this to silence.

Beautiful new piture sis!

dunno I don't know, maybe when they get older they get tired of rejection. The younger guys don't seem to have much problem in that area, but I've started noticing around 50ish they get a little more reserved or something. confused

Look at it this way, if they've made it to anywhere near your age you can pretty much rule out their having bad genes! laugh

Lucky for me that I have chatted w/ a few men who are patient and hoest enough that we were able to figure out that we were not ment to eachother. Which is really good. I hate wasting time on someone who is fake.

Why is it that men become more conservative when they are older and women are more likely to voice their concerns and needs? Never could get that.confused

It is not working so well. I have mostly received mail and such form forgien men. They are wanting an ideal woman, an insant wife and other such matters of instant divotion right out of the gate.

A couple of the others who make a move are only sending complements to be nice - regarding the forums. There have been no love of serious friendship connections.

I've met a lot of nice ladys. Pitty I am not a lesbian. sigh

Well, on here, I stick to the forum and just look for friendship.

In real life, I have tried to become a little more "forward" laugh

If I had the opportunity to go to the big singles dances like I used to (in New Hampshire), I'd be dragging men out on the dance floor rolling on the floor laughing

At the fairs this time of year, I'm talking to all sorts of men at the poultry exhibit area.

Maybe one of them is SINGLE!!!rolling on the floor laughing

How about buttons saying single, looking, married, just want to fool around etc.?
Must say you are more daring then I am.
When at a dance where women are told too chose, I would always ask a "old guy" we talking now 30 years ago, lol.
