You might do well to remember Democrat FDR, he was chomping at the bit to get into the fight with Germany and Japan.
You would also do well to remember Democrat Harry Truman, The only president to drop 2 atomic bombs on an enemy.
You would also do well to remember Democrat Lyndon Johnson who escalated the war in Viet Nam to surprising levels.
You would also do well to remember Democrat John F Kennedy who was prepared to take on the Soviet Union in all out war over offensive missles being put in Cuba.
Don't ever make the mistake of thinking Democrats are afraid of a fight we love to fight, but we pick our battles because we aren't stupid. We don't invade the wrong country and we don't engage in holy wars, we leave that lunacy to christians & muslims.
John McCains decision to pick extremist Sarah Palin as his running mate just shows how whacky he really is.

Something that bothers me...........and it may be a little thing BUT!!!!..... why is she so good at "keeping secrets" and why the need to? WHY did she keep her pregnancy secret from so many people until she was about to give birth? {I know , you said 7 months, but c'mon!}.
I dont trust her and I dont even think she is good looking. What I do think is that she cannot campaign without Sen. McCain (which is sad for the both of them) and she seems to NOT be running for V.P. as much as she is running for the Presidency. Have you ever heard her say anything about Sen. Biden? I havent. Maybe at the convention, and maybe in one line, but she is NOT running for President.
Oh wait a minute, you did say that she was good at keeping secrets. Is John McCain sick with cancer again and she is one of the few that knows it? ........Hope not for Sen. McCain, and I also mean no disrespect to either of them.
In the debates, I think Biden will eat her alive and spit her out. All she knows is what is fed to her about OBAMA. ...Supposedly. All the people that are complaining about the "lipstick on a pig" need to listen to John McCain say that about Hillary's health plan ....oh but wait, that is ok, because JOHN McCAIN SAID IT. .....I think he should give Hillary an apology if he wants one coming his way.

Well I heard some of things mentioned in soundbytes.
I like the timeline explanation of her rise to the chance to be a VP.
Shes a cut throat artist thats a good selling point... my concern is whose her real target the citizens of America or those politicians she'll be in closed door meetings with.

She is very far from a "babe" and not very experienced either. She may be a nice person , but when Joe Lieberman was unavailable for the vice presidency, McCain hurriedly picked her and that in my opinion cost him the election. Maybe she is a nice person and a pretty face? but a position that is a heartbeat away from the most powerful position in the world, I would not put my money on an inexperienced person from Alaska.
