NoMcSame: John McCain in his book "Worth the fighting for: A Memoir", he wrote "I didn't decide to run for president to start a national crusade for the political reforms I believed in or to run a campaign as if it were some grand act of Patriotism. In truth, I wanted to be president because it had become my ambition to be president. I was sixty-two years old when I made the decision and I thought it was my one shot at the prize."
He has since claimed that Obama is running on ambition only... not principle or patriotism. Is he insane? In fact, it seems most of the attacks that McCain has made against Obama are actually true of McCain... not Obama.
Sarah Palin made comments in her speech... "Americans expect us to go to Washington for the right reasons...". Later she said "My fellow citizens, the American Presidency is not supposed to be a journey of personal discovery".
If that is true, then she and John McCain should not be on the ticket!

When a poll shows him on the wrong side of an issue he changes sides. Look at off-shore drilling. First he was against it, now he favors it. His stance on anything is in constant flux.

I didn't see even one person in this thread talk negatively against America. Wanting a better America, one that every person deserves does not make someone Anti American. One could say that being content, and willing to suffice with the status quo when they know the status quo is wrong is anti American.
