Im new here and a born-again christian (33)
lifeabundant: right now I am seeking out others of my kind that I know are here:) Being a secular site, you might be a bit hard to find;) I belong to 2 christian forums and have grown more in my walk with Christ, amongst unbelievers. Maybe I didn't help anyone else, but I have certainly been helped. I love people and am slow to anger. satan loves to test me on that and he will again. I fail, stumble and downright rebel against God at times. I always turn back to Him though because my life is miserable without Him.
I know if nothing else, I will learn here on this site:) I hope to make some friends, and wow, meeting someone "special", well, that would just be a fringe benefit of "just showing up":) God bless, a sister in Christ, denise

Thank you:) I am glad to be "anywhere" lol:) I live miles out in the country and God blessed me with this pc so that I could stay in touch with folks:) With gas prices, I think I would go stir-crazy not having it:)

thank you much:) I am glad to be yackin with folks!! As I said, I was on a big christian site but it was sort of like a "huge" church and very hard to meet people. Also, everyone was so spread out I couldn't find out which threads were "active" and which weren't:)

I`m also a Follower of Christ, although I do not attend churches anymore - I find them not spiritual enough for me, too materialistic, but fellow believers and followers of The Way I always enjoy meeting................ Many on here do believe that being a "christian" is not a good thing. They only lack in understanding of who we really are. It's okay. Respect them and show them unconditional love. When attacked, continue to love and ask God for wisdom in your answers. They will settle down in time and you will be able to count them among your friends.

Smoky, I couldn't be happier to meet you. I haven't attended a church in over 5 months for the same reason. I am closer to God now than I ever was when attending. I think now I have a much better understanding of it truly being a personal relationships with Christ. Not that I am not to fellowship as I still do, I am at this moment!! But I can't get it "from" others which is what I started out doing when first saved. I was following my X husband, not God:)

Hi HL! Thank you so much:) I am really glad about meeting so many so fast!! One thing about being attacked, LOL, it just gets me in the Word more:) I pray a lot and especially, not to argue or buy into "dead" end discussion. I respect others beliefs and love them all the same. I don't consider myself better than anyone. In fact God Word says to esteem others higher, more important than myself.
