I was the only rockabilly in my class...but I always did my homework and wearing pink shirts along with my quiff ....I couldn't hide if I tried...

it got to stage where I was asked to set my own punishment --- teachers no imagination- rather boring in those days - even the corporal punishment was mundane - hit a kid with a flexible stick i wanted to get a detention with my cookery teacher...but it never happened..

Well, at least kids got some form of punishment then - and it made better people of them......?
Now .. we getting over-run by hooligans who mugg old pensioners, just for some fun, and kick them on the ground - while they got their "hoodies" to hide their faces from CCTV cameras. Seems to take at least 3 or 4 teenagers to fell a man of 75 - from behind .... like a terrible form of modern day predator?
