Yep...I had a scare of heart palpitations and pain, numbness and pain down my left arm...drove myself to the hospital with my husband next to me...ended up on 23-hour heart monitor and getting a stress test. They never could tell me what was wrong...but they could tell me it wasn't a heart attack.
Don't follow my example...have someone else drive you. I'm a headstrong idiot at times.

2 weeks later after his surgery he drove his self to the hospital again, only this time he passed away 15 min. after arriving to the hospital.

What a trooper your father was, love!! Just for that alone he should've made it....Its just not fair sometimes.... I know, I lost my father many years ago!! He was only 44 years old....!!

Kind of sounds like you have anxiety and some stress.

i was one of the lucky ones one bout of really bad palpitations and about 10 private summers over a three year period, but i was in a cardiologist's office 48 hours after the palpitations becausre in my book if the heart is asking for attention you give it immediately.
