I seen the Pete Best band last night. (4)
mastic55Long Island, New York USA167 Threads 6,859 PostsLast night my son and his girlfriend brought me to see the Pete Best band.If you don't know who he is ,he was the drummer for the Beatles and was fired on the eve of their success..........They said that was the end of their tour in the U.S and heading back to England today.It was a good show but sad to see only around 30 people there.I wounder how he must have been hurt to be though what he endured. I think he is a icon for all who been ripped off or hurt.

That's cool. There would've been more there had they known that he was part of the Beatles.

I'm not sure, from what I see written he was a much better drummer, but it is said that the other three made their manager fire him..I don't know why..They got their start in his mothers club and she even got their equipment back when they were deported from Germany, because George was to young and Pete and Paul set a little fire in a room they were staying in.------ This thread is Archived ------
