Christ is their example to follow. I'll try to locate the verse for you. But Christ did not come to judge the world...but by him is the world judged. The meaning is this Christ did NOT judge. but because he did not break the commandments then he set a standard by which the world will be compared.
So! Ask them are they to follow Christ example! Tell them the verse! Then say if Christ would not judge me....then do as he would...you are far less than he.....so don't judge me...Now go, repent and ask forgiveness of your error.
SaxonKing: I seem to be getting a lot of attention from religious types. Unwanted attention might I add!
They seem to enjoy being in places where they feel righteous about passing judgement upon others from their high pedistols.
I do know the bible somewhat but feel that I am in need of more.
Anyone have any good quotes from the good book that I may find useful?
I am good with the basics, looking for some meat to go with my potatoes!
Thanks

He who hasn't sinned, cast the first stone.
It isn't a humans place to judge, according to the good book. It's God's place. Any "Christian" standing in judgment of another needs to take a good look in a mirror.
Hi, btw, I'm Dana. I'm not knew here, but have been absent for a few months. Nice to meet you.
Well if you start quoting these it will definitely shut them up (and make them back away slowly)
As you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor. But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. When the LORD your God hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you. (Deuteronomy 20:10-14)
If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.(Deuteronomy 22:28-29 NLT)

Good ones, Crotty! Yep, those should certainly give them pause! Me, I just let them meet my dogs...they tend to back away when given paws!
