Generally, in Montréal, this is garden planting weekend. BUT, we have been getting the rain leftover from the New England recent rainfalls. So, no planting for me...
That leaves me with a very boring weekend ahead of me. But I will survive with books to read and a couple of warm blankets and pillows, and a pot of hot coffee. I guess there is only thing missing in that picture, isn't it.
LOL

He is Canadian, so he must be talking about this weekend's holiday. In ROC (Rest of Canada), it is called the Queen's birthday holiday. Here in Québec, we now celebrate Patriots' Day (our Patriots *DeLorimier, Papineau, Chénier, etc.* were rebels way back during the time of the colony). BTW, some of them were sent to do time in the penitentiary colonies of Australia!!!
So, yes, Americans get their holiday next weekend. Canadians get it this weekend.
But anyone is welcome to celebrate an extra holiday with us, no problem.

To cute....you can hijack the thread, but not the plane...we all know your intentions on jumping out of a perfectly serviceable aircraft...

Well, one thing for sure is that I won't do it this weekend. First, it doesn't seem like it will be the end of the world soon and secundo, with all that rain, no plane can even take off the ground.

BTW, I sure can't jump out of a non operating airplane!!! And I will need a pilot to fly the plane; any volunteers?

I can't imagine you being grounded. Feet on the ground maybe but your head still in the sky for sure. LOL.
