but i keep gettin run over
and im not even jaywalkin

Exactly!

Elementary english. doh

It seems not everyone can say what they 'feel' on here!

A new machine, in an abandoned factory, waiting to process anything to what will sell most, comes to mind!

Desperation at target practice could prove hazardous!

I won't even say 'why me'!

kidatheart: I opted out of all of it because I don't believe in any of it, but I do still enjoy spending time with family and friends during the holidays. Well, most of the time. There have been a few years where I spent the holidays alone, that's how I found this place.

This will be my first Christmas away from my family and friends, I´m not sure I even want to celebrate it. I will do at least one of my traditions which is to buy a live tree and plant it on New Years day. I love the smell of the tree in the house, and the world can always use another tree planted!

One of my dearest friends is not a Christian or believer in any sort of religious template, partial or otherwise. He is a vegan, and does not believe in marriage. We differ in many viewpoints yet he is truly dear to my heart. We have the ability to converse on any subject without personal inflection getting the better of either of us and there is never any hard feelings when we part with different views. He celebrates his own version of Christmas on the Solstice and I have experienced it. He has also participated in the Christmas in my own home with equal fervor. His brother-in-law it Tibetan and he openly accepts the beliefs he has learned from him as well. He does not impose upon his sister to refrain from something which is not his own personal belief. A true example of free-will and acceptance. The measure of this man far exceeds the rule which is too often placed above each of us.

Cool tradition, can't do it here though. You'd need a jackhammer to get through the 3 feet of frost to get the tree into the ground.laugh sigh

You can always spend it here with me and all the other misfit toys from across the planet.laugh roll eyes

Maybe i'll go to Paris, where i had lots of fun. I hope my postive feedback doesn't reflect my shallow need to want to assimilate, due to inferiority.

laugh

I absolutely love everything that affects my life, and i have no right to opinions on anything that concerns me, because i am tolerant like that.

Oh no, you just reminded me, I probably won´t get to see all the Christmas specials, and it´s no fun having the DVD´s cause half the fun is channel surfing and coming across them!! I loved Rudolph!

How would you like to be a Spotted Elephant?
Or a Choo-Choo with square wheels on your caboose?
Or a water pistol that shoots -- jelly?
We're all misfits!
How would you like to be a bird that doesn't fly? I swim!
Or a cowboy who rides an ostrich?
Or a boat that can't stay afloat?
We're all misfits.

--(back to singing)--
If we're on the Island of Unwanted Toys
We'll miss all the fun with the girls and the boys
When Christmas Day is here
The most wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful day of the year!

Hugz_n_Kissez: Exactly...my views of people are never because of their religion but simply their own behavior and how they choose to treat me and others....

ditto Mark and Shelly.Only I add that I still love those who don't treat me well also.I may not respect them and surely don't want to be around anyone who treats me in a negative way. When I say I love them,I mean I want the best for them away from me and that being a humanitarian and a person who tries my best to follow God that they are humans and while I may hate words or deeds done to me by whoever,I don't hate the person themselves.
I have been on here reading the 3 ? threads about religion topic.I have avoided comment as I don't feel I have anything to say or didn't till now.I always profess my love of my personal Savior and most know I am a Christian and beleive strongly in prayer. However I feel the thread comments are not being done totally as a mature disscusion but instead,a game of who can come out looking right or the smartest. Also while I condone atheists speaking thier minds in forums as is everyones right,I still don't think a atheist or scientific view should be under Religion thread.Under misc. or if it is,under advice. There is no one here I harbor any animosity towards.I agree to disagree and respect anothers right to voice an opinion.I was told that the other day I was called a whiner when I said this :).I hope the bickering stops soon, never use to be such comments made or threads started as in the last 2 months.I enjoy reading humor, what's new with other members, and good things.Nuff said from me.As always peace out to all.handshake orhug to you all.heart1
