Well women enjoy hearing romantic stuff, especially if the man writing it is inspired to write it by the woman he loves, you're right it should not be something contrived or invented but its a free forum can't help it if the uninspired want to have their say too.

Well romance it not only what you say its also what you do as Kansas so rightly said - and for some that includes quoting poetry, song lyrics, or simply doing something for the one you love when you don't necessarily have to. Not every guy is as eloquent as you or Kansas and they may find that the words of a poet or song writer gives them a way to express their feelings. Women can appreciate a man that can be non-verbally romantic but we also like to hear it verbally expressed too.
