nomindgamesPainesville, Ohio USA168 Threads 1 Polls 3,154 PostsI try to be positive everyday.Some days are better than others.Today I saw a young man about 17 stop and help an elderly lady put her groceries in her car.Made me smile.A neighbor saw me coming out to car,now we had heavy snow today,he cleaned off my car before finishing his.Nice people doing little things to help another can make a so-so day a good one. My opinion anyway.

My friend is currently shopping with my daughter for my birthday gift. Since my mom died, I've had friends say that they would take Em shopping, but no one has. So, Em and I will go into a store, I go to a different area (we've even used 2 way radios at times, when I didn't want her too far from me, so that I couldn't see what she was getting), then we'd put a coat over whatever she'd chosen, go to the check-out, I give them my card, tell them what we're doing and turn away.
It's been difficult.
However, today a friend has taken my daughter shopping for me. She's had a very busy day, yet was willing to do this for us.
It was something very good.
