if it was me get a complement i would reply even if i don't like the person...GS, the answer is simpler than you might imagine.....men outnumber women by a factor of 10 or more....women get inundated with mail and flowers here...some of the more popular women would need to hire a secretary to actually respond to all the mails they get.if you expect to get a response every time you send someone a flower, you are going to end up bitterly disappointed.

Well the women on websites on the large get bombarded, and i suppose they just ignore the mail for the most part!
They are used to getting foreign scam mail as well, and i suppose i would soon get hacked off with people sending me marriage proposal emails!

All I can say is that I've always replied, even if it's just to say thanks for the thought. If they've taken the time to send one, doesn't take long to say thanks.

Not all have the time to reply to all their flowers, and also, mail seem to get lost in cyberspace a few times (at least on my wifi link).

I agree. No harm acknowledging someone's effort to pay you a compliment by saying thanks. I figure it is akin to saying thanks or responding to a hello in the real world.
