Dating co-workers (22)
We had a policy years ago at one place I worked, that you could not date employees...It their was a break up, it causes friction, and also one of them felt they needed to leave their job.. I think it is a bad idea...where on the other hand, I have a girlfriend that thinks that is the only place she has ever met any decent men...Depends on how it is handled..

yeah but trying to date someone 2000 miles away is not a great idea either the logistics of it boggle my mind and my wallet

It would all depend on how mature each person was, but most are not mature enough. to maybe break-up and still be respectful to one another...JMO

Yep, not a good idea. I think that's one of those rules you just simply have to go by, same goes for dating any exes of your friends, it simply isn't done.

I did it once, and agree that it's a bad idea. Bad enough that I was a waitress then, and upon seeing him lost control of a tray of glasses. I discovered it's just too distracting. And yes, it can be a problem if you have a bad breakup.
