I haven´t had it yet, but I normally have one bout in February. I didn´t have a flu jab this time so odds on it´ll be winding its way to me.
The worst thing is being alone when you´re feeling lousy, don´t you think? I like being fussed over and kept topped up with lemsips.
You´re lucky then working from home.
I struggle in because i hate letting my students and my employer down, unless I really am confined to bed.
It´s the wrong attitude though.

I've always thought it insane that people go into work when they are sick, and spread it around to everyone in the office...

I had flu only few times in my all life 
I usually get a bad dose in October or November every year. Tried the flu jab a few years ago and was sick for 12 weeks so never again.

That's funny....similiar to, if you want to keep healthy, stay as far away from hospitals as you can...why go where they keep all the sick people??...

most people when they get a heavy cold think they have flu if you get the flu you will not want to get out of bed and probaly cant you shake bones ache have a fever if you have a very bad attack you can also get water in your lungs and be in hospital for a couple of weeks so if you can walk around you got a cold not flu no cure for a cold im afraid just stay warm drink lots of fluids and if you are over 40 years old you should have a flu jab each year ..flu can kill

I don't know if I have ever had the flu, and I have only had one bad cold that I remember, in 1979. I get sniffles from cold-type viruses once about every 10 years.
If I get sick I hibernate alone. Wouldn't dream of giving it to anyone else.
Don't tell me....a chocolate croissant??...
