Katrina i think of them all the time and those that got hit by Rita too

the levees(sp) will still not be ready for this season and i am so sorry for those who lost all or most of there things thats why i go through my older clothes and school supplies i have stocked up on and send them to my sons school so those that had to relocate with children can have supplies to go to school and their parents can use money for other much needed things

We've had three inches of rain fall here in the last 24 hrs.

Getting tired of rain, but at least we are not being flooded out.

Nothing worse than being evacuated and never being able to return to find your home and memories.

Wow you people must be morning folks...My brain can barely function well enough to get the coffee maker to engage.....Philosophical ideas and big picture concerns haven't even begun to invade my cognitive processes yet...and they may not today.... 5 nights one day off back in a morning...The wheels just don't turn much beyond one foot in front of the other

These thoughts help me ground myself to the fact despite everyhting else that happens in my small circle of life there is soo much more worse and better things than my own accomplishments or troubles....

as you so well put it some are morning folk and others are not.... enjoy your coffee and find your happy thought.....comfort

um i wasn't upset ... least not by anything you have posted! not huffy either!

just playin with the words.

as for the dutch well i am Lebanese not dutch and i live here because my children's fathers are dutch and i thought it might be nice to have proximity...that's the first reason, next because there is a freedom of sorts and you have just found it . we even have a fascist party! but at least we know who and where they are! America's a fascist country in denial and can you monitor your leaders? and can you keep them in check when they threaten the health and well being of the land?

so far i don't think so.
