trish123: Yeah, the money isnt supposedly stolen - it is still there yet simply devalued - this is all in the remit of the world bank, they could print money tomorrow and have this all over and done with but there is just a little too much attention on the federal reserve at the moment - its all a silly game and the players take it all so seriously cos the amounts of dosh that they are palying with are simply like phone numbers to the rest of us - it will all ultimately be ok but before we get there, many will have lost their life savings, and many will ahve got rich overnight - Its stuff like this I hope Obama is wise to....... we listen to the seriousness of the reports every day and think it makes differences to our lives but ultimately, it only makes differences to their lives - we all stay poor, we remain to foot the bills of their high falutin lifestyles - its the poor who, at the end of the day, bear the brunt of the rising cost of living which they manipulate based on how they play with the stock market - they are manufacturers of illusion and its a most effective game...........

hillbillyhoney: You have no idea on poor till you grow up in it.In the days of Kennedy Johnson actually visited right down the road in another county.Cause here we don't take off the government we do for ourselves.Yet each winter rolls in it stays the same.If you do not work in the mines or railroad you do wiothout.When will it change for us in Appalachias.We are right here in these United States.When will you not see children drinking from the creek because they are thirsty.Or see on television the sight many seen all over the world the lady staying in an old school bus.Now you can tell me about the ones who go to sleep with nothing but ketchup in their stomach.I am not talkin third world I am talkin right here.How many presidents have said we will make it better only to not give a damn after saying they would.And usually ones here have to go to Indiana and Ohio and send money home.

Fallingman: It has been an impressive first day. It is fair that people are sceptical after what they have had to put up with for the last number of years. I for one will be interested in whether he can maintain the open government he espouses.

But hey! Even you critics have to admit that he seems to want to actually institute some changes. Refreshing!
