Seriously Weddy...Malta has had more rain this winter than most people can remember ever having seen before...this seems bizarre in a country that has desalination plants to provide drinking water...

They 'newbies' that every year for at least 5 years; it's a little known fact that Malta used to be in the tropics before continental drift shoved it north and, believe you me, it rained a lot more then!

Yesterday I did some weeding in the garden in the drizzle. Great. Monday I walked for about 3 hours in the sunshine.

Yeah I know what you're thinking: effin moron, more like!!!!
Actually drizzle is the wrong word. You can't see the drops, they are so little and soft and far between. You just know that you're getting slightly wet, but it's OK if you're well wrapped up!
It's like being just under a cloud.
This neck of the woods is half-ringed by mountains so it's a very pleasant climate, quite remarkable.
When I say weeding, I was clearing the weeds around the 2 peach trees that I planted 2 years ago when I arrived here. Actually 4, but 2 didn't make it. The soil is very fertile and the weeds shoot up. Unbelievable!
Cold at night, sunny and warm during the day, we still have the intermitant very strong winds, but no snow
Shot, I would imagine you're sitting on a very powerful selling proposition there....sell your location as the best beauty treatment a woman can get for her complexion....you're bound to pull with that!!
