hasagoodheart: Ah now Conrad, come on. There's a reason for the ongoing, relentless "get rid of Mugabe" message in the British media.

Have a read of the history of British involvement in Zimbabwe !.

Well, I see that Mandelas wife Gräca has also a lot to say about Mr Mugabe being an Illegal president! Because he is allowing his people to die from spreading diseases and hunger - he is now alienating himself from his former allies.

Ja, the White folk who meddled in Africas affairs, and then stepped back when things got out of control dont seem too keen on stepping back in anymore? But who can blame them? ... There is no logic in any African leaders decisions these days - just greed, personal power, pomp, & ceremonies, and overdoses of blah-blah-blah.

Personally, I am thinking its much like Global Climate Change ... the earth is preparing to renew itself, and shedding an overload of humanoids...?

Conrad73: And a Massmurderer to boot!

Hang on, I'm not defending Mugabe. I am just questioning the motive of the British media in focussing on Mugabe and Zimbabwe. Thats all.

Most of African ways are not understood by Europeans - maybe the British media still does not understand how a despot can keep re-electing himself to leadership ... tis not the European way of politics. But the Africans are very tolerant of their own.

It is rather unbelievable, that even after Idi Amin`s carryings on that they still do not credit that a leader can murder his own people? The shame is that those people suffering have no means or ability to escape to a better life, and this too is not understood by those who have never suffered.

Always remember the Golden Rule - which is that they who have the Gold make the Rules. The desire to hang onto power and wealth at any cost is sadly a global phenomenon.

rusty_knight: We should do to Robert Mugabe what we should have done to Saddam Hussein - assassinate him...... and assassinate each person to takes his mantle until somebody half-human becomes the leader - of course assassination is wrong, but a lesser evil than invading a country or turning a blind eye while people are abused by such a disgusting excuse for a human being.

He is an aberration of human kind, a gross mutation.

Not wrong at all.thumbs up

smoky: Oh absolutely! I agree!

Once upon a time I delved my little toe into some local politics - to help rid my little town of some despotic town councillors .... and the New Ones became just as bad - in a very short time! Seems that very few humans can resist having Power!?

You may have heard of the famous Zimbardo experiments.

Ordinary people were randomly placed in the role of either jail warden or prisoner. The experiment had to be abruptly terminated. For very obvious reasons, relating to issues of power adopted by the 'wardens'.
