On behalf of the beauracratically anally retentive people of 'my' country, who dream up ever more elaborate ways of making us all look stupid, I apologise profusely. I don't blame you for not wanting to visit.

Hi Summer..........

Hope your well...... hug

The Flights, if your booking in advance can be really cheap.
Its a great destination for a weekend away, and Dublin hosts so many Hens and Stag nights from the UK.

I sometimes wonder why people want to visit, but I have to say after travelling extensively, most people are so friendly, and there is a nice atmosphere around these days.

Be careful tho, its soo expensive there now..........Hotels, food and drink can really cost you...........Average pint of beer is prob over 5 euro in most bars.......crying

There are regular CS meets Summer and it would be handy to book in advance to attend as they can be brilliant fun. Oslo is organising one for July in Dublin and the details are in the IE threads............And the Geordies are well liked over there.........laugh ...........especially one as gorgeous as you.........blushing

There was five of us, we sailed from Nefyn on the
Welsh coast and back to Portmadog.
It took thirteen hours to get there and nineteen
hours on the return leg.
The return journey was quite scary. Thick sea fog
all the way back and the radar was out.
Greeted by a shoal of dolphins off the Welsh coast,
it was a good experience all round.thumbs up

Well there are cheaper alternatives in fairness but yeah I reckon a week in SPain can be cheaper than a weekend in Dublin.

Lots of other places like Kilkenny or Galway tho which wouldnt be as dear.

Anyway good to see you and hope to catch you soon.
