hope someone doesI think in 2001 while visiting NZ I received a letter (only one since 1993) saying that our youngest son needed my signature to obtain a passport so he could go to Bali on a school outing.
Was the only communication since my son aged two half throw an orange juice in my face during family court proceedings.
Reluctantly I signed the consent form swirling my signature outside the box and sent back an accompanying letter stating I thought at that time it was to dangerous to go anywhere near Bali. Three or four weeks later another form arrived as the passport office had objected because my signature wasn't wholly within the signature box, again I signed but that time intentionally again scrolled with half the signature outside the box, think three weeks after that the Bali bombing occurred…

i don't know if he went to Bali, i very much doubt that schools would have been allowed to take kids there after the bombing. At that time Indonesia was preparing to invade Australia under the leadership of Megawati Sukarnoputri.

well i would have gone with my mates but they cant get time off,im happy going by myself but just thought it would be nice if someone else would like to meet up there. i dont need to go that far with personal columns etc, if im by myself there thats fine, just thought a little bali romance would be nice

i am looking at staying at a 5 star resort and wont be venturing out into the hub of bali,should be quite safe. plane, taxi, resort,taxi, plane home.i have heard bad stories, but my boss goes twice a year and she has never had any problems. depends where you go and what you do i suppose.
