Were the rockets not triggered by the israeli occupation of 90% of Palestinian territory and a systematic attempt to destroy Palestinians?
In my opinion the Israelis will gradually curb its attacks on Palestinians for several reasons. One is that Palestine today has capacity to promote initiatives in the UN and the International Criminal Court. Another, that Jewish religious fanatics already must perform military service, so they won't send to death their people so easily as they did with the rest of the Israeli population of military age. And the last is that we now know that their fabulous Iron Dome can be easily saturated by shooting rockets in large numbers, much cheaper than the Israeli missile defense, too expensive to sustain
maome1: chapeau! most people ignore the illegitimate occupation and argue about the right of the occupier to defend the land they've stolen!
aha, another crypto-antisemite venting it out on the web.. you may criticise Israel for not respecting UN Resolution 242 (neither do the Palestinians by the way...), but the state of Israel is recognised in its 1967 borders, buddy; so no way they occupy 90% of palestinian territory... go back to school and learn your maths and hostory...
Why no one says that Hamas is a terrorist organization who seeks to destroy Israel and replace it with an Islamic state, I think that the international community should send an army of volunteers to defend and help Israel.

The objective of the current Israeli government is to expand territory, and as such it is Israel who does not want peace and will do whatever it takes to stop the peace process from happening
"Ahmed Jaabari, murdered by Israel in 2012, had also been the top negotiator with Israel for, among other things, the prisoner exchange in which the Israeli soldier Ghalit was released, and in return for the release of over 1,000 Palestinian prisoners. In that context, he had been negotiating through various intermediaries, both within Egypt and within the Israeli peace movement, for a longer-term ceasefire between Hamas and Israel.
As has happened before, when Israeli negotiations were underway with the Palestinians, they have responded to the possibility of serious negotiations by assassinating those who were involved in the negotiations. This happened in 1996 years when another Hamas leader was assassinated in Gaza while he was reading the text of a final proposed peace agreement."
May I suggest that you try to read media which is not controlled by Zionists to try and understand the full picture rather than the lies, distortions and hypocrisy of Zionism.

Don't ask me to feel bad for Hamas. They have sworn the destruction of Israel and refuse to recognize its existence. Of course, it would be better to give more power to the Muslim Brotherhood. Egypt is already showing some good results and improvements with the human rights of its people, particularly its women. The world doesn't have enough murderous fruitcakes, lets give them a home. You might get support from the bleeding hearts and politically correct, but I abstain. I don't see Hamas feeding its people with the money coming in. In contrast, they sure know where to buy or get arms (Iran, Lebanon, Syria). I empathize with the moderate population of Palestine as it is between the anvil and the hammer. I do not hate Muslims, only the controlling fanatic ones. Those who profess violence and control are not the Muslim that understand the Koran. They manipulate it and have a thirst for power, not for the good of humanity. Take a look where Sharia law is established and the result of a fair justice. Maybe that doesn't speak loud enough for you? It couldn't happen there? Dream on! There is a large population of Palestinians oversea and I doubt that they would go back there even if Palestine was a recognize county under Hamas. Look for the Association of Ramallah Palestine in the US. Like a Palestinian minister said not long ago, "stop talking for us". I do not condone Israel in the grab for territories and some violence. They have a right to live in peace too as I am sure that not everyone there is in support of violence.
By the way, in case you ask or think, I am not Israeli or Jewish! But in my opinion, two wrong doesn't not make one right.

And before, in 1995 they killed even Jitzhak Rabbin .
Izrael is killing everybody who wants to make peace there.
It doesn't metter if person is Israeli or Arab, they just kill.
I respect your opinion and we could talk about this subject for ever without changing the madness in the world.
But, don't go hiking in the Sahel without a target painted on your back. You could loose your head over this. They love Americans, even though they didn't hear about the creation of Al Qaeda by the US.
Israel cannot justify the grab for land, I agree with that. But from there to say that Hamas is a creation of the Israelis, I doubt it. They were dully elected in part by the Palestinian people, not the Israelis.
I trust that after watching this illuminating video the the "crypto fascist Zionsts' on this site will apologise for the lies they have been regurgitating fed to them all these years by 'former' terrorist organisation Likud, now currently the government of Israel.
