Oh Yes!! This is a FABULOUS film!! The scenery is beautiful, the story wonderful!! I first saw it many many years ago, and I'm thinking of having it as our family Christmas film next year....as an inspirational theme. Beautiful movie.

sorry, but is this the original cape fear, or the 90s remake, i liked the original, bob mitchum at his menacing best, de niro, just looked like he was acting menacing, mitchum was menacing. but each to there own.RE: AVATAR 3D
I'm think this movie will be an Oscar contendar for the special effects category. The visual graphics are fantastic and the 3-D is amazing. A word of advice, just don't sit too close to the screen.

I really like this movie and its cool sopundtrack, Ive wathed it several times.In 2007 I had the chance to visit the original movie submarine in munich at bavaria studios.
Its very small and I wonder how they could take the scenes in this tube.
