Hallway ...

I was walking down a hall

There was carpet wall to wall ...

It was rather dark and dim

I was feeling uneasy and grim ...

The hall was long like a maze

It became darker; air like haze ...

Round the corner came a shadow of a trace

A figure of a man who shot me in the face ...

Freud would have a field day on this one Red. I wouldn't even know where to start except to say, stay clear of dark hallways. Dreams tell us so much of our fears and aspirations. Thank goodness I can't remember most of mine.

It was a dream ... I did wake up after being shot in the face, however ...

This was one dark poem, sorry you had to feel it as dreams always seem real at the time don't they.
Smell something nice before going to sleep and hopefully your dreams will be sweet.
