A world without words

Bereft of hope when trying to describe a lost and lonely shore
Barriers could not be broken down, robbed of all rapport
No articulated feelings, when we see a beautiful sunset
No resolve to a problem cordially, without a tete-a-tete

No ability to illuminate the plight of the third world
An explanation can’t be given if a tragedy unfurled
No messages of condolence on the passing of a mate
How could we manifest, those feelings that we hate

No descriptive poetry on a rose as it begins to bloom
Can’t elucidate the feeling, when you walk into the room
or communicate the value of what a friendship brings
The lexicon of love, would be empty of many things

Endearing words create in our heart a feeling of amour
So in this silence with no pen to paper, I could not endure.

About this poem:
Life without endearing words is like being in a garden without flowers.

Endearing words create a feeling that transcends our reality and makes life worth living.

What do you mean "we'd go crayzee" some of us already have...

grin

It would however be very quiet in poets corner.

Words written can express the deepest and most complex of thoughts Orpheus. I don't know about crayazee (giggle) but I would be a little frustrated without the outlet of poetry
