I don’t remember wishing on a shooting star, or polishing a lamp from an eastern bazaar. Making a pact with the devil for my soul, reading a magical incantation from ancient scroll Yet my dreams took flight in Waitrose cafe a wondrous enchantment had come my way
An amazing lady who’s funny and smart A vision of beauty that’s captured my heart Her lips are soft and yearn to be kissed and when holding her close it’s hard to resist. With eyes that sparkle with every embrace A new found passion I found in that place
Hand in hand we strolled for a while Chatting and laughing with every mile a horseless carriage hid a covert kiss a journey to nowhere that ended in bliss each time we part my soul starts to weep she stays on my mind even when I’m asleep

Thanks Niah, I'm still on cloud nine and for once not scared of hights.

Thanks Billiegirl, This poem is not one of my usual romantic dreams, it is the reality of meeting my princess.
