One cat One Fruit One Clock

Life gives us obstacles to overcome, usually regurgitated from our past lives like a bad case of deja vu

Each life we get a little close to a new set of problems altogether

Time keeps ticking between life and death, only so much of it to use before we take the proverbial tunnel of light to the fruit stand between lifes` planes.

We take our sustaining bite of strawberry, left by generations before us.

Then we move on, try our luck in the next life.

About this poem:
Yes, I admit, an odd title. But this poem coexists with an art piece of mine, for a Deviant Art contest where we have to use one cat, one fruit, and one clock from 3 stock photos in each subject. So I chose a tiger, a strawberry, and a pocket watch. The watch to signify time between life and death, The tiger to symbolize someone dying and heading to the next life, the strawberry in Native American lore signifies food left by the previous generation to be shared. So the dying can transition into death. Those of you wanting to see this art piece go to http://pro-anti-vampire.deviantart.com/#/d3cmhvo

While I don't have all the same philosophies, I think it's a great write! (And that title really caught my eye-lol. You did well with the challenge)
