Letting Go

I am not her,
and you are not he..
We can never move forward
While holding on to what used to be.
We can't make someone into,
A replica of another from the past..
We can't build false futures..
While living in the past..
Life must always move forward..
Yes that is what they say...
So before you take that leap of faith,
Let go of your ghosts of yesterday.

this is very well said,quitestormf,,,well done mam,,,very true...we dont wanna live from whatever past we had,,time to move on for a better life and how i wish all of us have this kind of thinking....thanks again for a very fantasic poem...

Sometimes .. you move on ..when you find the other one that makes you move on and forget about the past !!

Very good use of the word Replica QS.
One will always have memories but no
they should not let those interfere
with the present...for it is a disservice
for all. Once fonder memories are established
they displace the old quite readily.
