Nothing left unsaid
To speak the truth
may bring forth only pain
Though to say nothing at all
will bring much the same
There are words that
must be said
If only to clear the thoughts
held captive in our head
No mater how deep those words
they might cut us
To say what needs to be said
is how we will build trust

It's interesting to consider that trust could be built on only pain. Often, it is not only what is said but also how it is said that matters. Hopefully, there is a way To speak the truth that does not cut so deeply. Thanks for sharing.
