I work with the
elderly some times
you see they know
more than their
telling you or me.
For the stories
they tell are spoken
so well as if out
of a text book.
They remember the
times and things
they loved them
most, but certain
things are a ghost.
Their minds seem
fine certain parts
of the day when
nigh falls every
thing goes away.
Don't be sad theirs
moments you see
she certainly did
remember thee.
For in her world
she put herself
safe in her place
she knows so well.
Just believe she
is safe right now
for the Lord is
guiding hand shows
her how look up to
him and say a prayer
for today the Lord's
carries her there.
He picks up and
candles her in
his hand.
For the Lord is
guiding her through
her path until
her final walk
with him to heaven.
