I had someone tell me
one day that i am a
poet you see ,
but i told them that
was not to be.
I told them maybe
some day down the
road my life may
take a turn but
right now poetry
is just something
i learned my
hobbie, my jist
the fun of my life.
Now it is time to do
a new thing to find
a career one i just
love do not want to
blend into the
background and
disappear.
I want something
that brings me out
of my comfort zone
but yet let's me stand
there all alone.
Basking in what i
have learned and
done just knowing
i am no longer
on the r u n.
I stand and say
to you today.
That this is the
life i want to be
i want to be laid
back easy and free
like that person
that is inside of me.
I finally brought
her out and do not
want her to go back
down inside of me
and hide for eternity.
I want her to stand
here in the sun and
glow designating all
the beauty that is
within her.
For she is a beautiful
person just the way
she is for God made
her in his image.
For at this moment
in time poetry is
not meant to be, but
you know i love it
you see yet i sit
here and think .
What is my life to
be some day i will
make history.
My poetry will be
written in the
S T A R S
in the
S K Y
My poetry will be
the apple of my eye.
With this i say
farewell until we
meet in the
P A G E S
of life's journey
down the road.
