I've never been here before, I've never felt this way.
I've never had so much time behind me, I've never seen today.
I never could have predicted the circumstances I'm in
I never was able to see where I was - so lost in where I had been.
I always knew it was in me - strength and resolve. It's true!
I always had a seed of faith. I always knew I'd find you.
Even when despairing and wanting myself to die
I held onto Life and trudged along. I never knew just why.
So now I've arrived here at Never and always will recall
when things turned around - my head above ground -
at last! He answered my call.
Cuz I never quite quit believing. I always found time to pray
I just never thought that I could stop.
