It was the soft glow of moonlight carressing your velvet dress.. That!..was the clarion call.. It was the mingling of a cool evening mist and the smell of salt air that spoiled my strength.. Your giggles danced accross a midnight sea..and for this night, this very night..time fell asleep Quickly I tied the boat to that sea sprayed pylon.. You snatched up the last two bottles of wine and we raced up the shakey iron spiral stairs.. And slumbered into each others arms our wine breathed kisses heard the oceans song- i
I have a strofoam bouy I got from a friend who lives out by Washington D.C. There is a lighthouse in Chesapeake Bay by St. Michaels. They have a museum there about lighthouses and various activities in that bay.

Hi Jim
This is an interesting mixing of metaphor, I hope the ocean's song is far removed from the song of the sirens - as a terrible fate awaits all who hear those femme fatales, (Odysseus excepted.) That notwithstanding, this is a very romantic write.
Cheers buddy

How romantic Jim, I hope, or should I say, I am sure, it was such a sweet night for the both of you. With wine and loving thoughts while on each other's arms. Just beautiful..
Thanks for sharing.
