The Man who is always so strong and in control,

He sleeps and i watch,

His eyes that watch my ever move are closed and at rest.
His arms that hold and protect me, are even at rest folded as if he holds me,
His mind that is always alert to my moods and that knows me so well is dreaming.
His lips that i love to kiss, that such beautiful words come from just for me, they smile a secret smile at rest.

He sleeps as i watch over him, and as a stroke back his hair and lean in to gently kiss his forehead, he curls into me and my heart is complete for he is the one who knows me.

He sleeps ungaurded and that is when I protect Him.
