Hi, JimEee, Floods of loneliness in the crowd, how can it be? Since a crowd does not a connection make, if one seeks connection, one must reach outward before peace can be found within. Thanks for sharing the Ticking clocks with us.

Hi Gnj4u
Hmm! I really do not understand your, "since a crowd does not a connection make"
Example:
The crowd roared as one connection with the populous ideology!
I took a Poet's prerogative:
"Floods of loneliness in the crowd, how can it be?"
Glad you liked the ticking clocks and thanks for reading, "Age of the Soul".

reach out your hand and touch someone reach out and touch someone heart for when you give you will receive wisdom from the bible. . . need i say more
but i too share what you go through thou i am a little bit younger than you don't keep what's inside it is a lot younger than mine!
Cheer up, Sir, there is no such thing as age of the soul, soul never ages, it is more like " ...it is just another passing day and tomorrow may be a winner!" Tomorrow is another day, let us hope tomorrow will be different and bring good news! I am hopeful for you, same as for everyone on this sweet little corner. Thank you for sharing and God bless!!!

But then again, when father time comes we are all alone!
This reminded me of the song by Cher... "Sooner Or later, We All Sleep Alone"

Mmm and then there are woman who are a bit wiser, a little less girlish with years of Living, who know what they don't want. They see a young man who is full of life and can jump a fence with a rose in his mouth, And they see their son and smile, They see a younger man who is trying to impress with his muscles and boyish charm, And they see their son and smile. They see a Man, older and less able to jump any fence, not with a rose in his mouth, but With a rose in his hand, the other takes her hand and kisses it softly, looks into her eyes And looks deeper right into her soul, mmmmm now some younger man are able to do this i agree:-) But an older Man knows what He wants and is able to see inside where a Lady lives and waits
Give me an Older Man and I am happy, I am already a mother and I needed a Man:-) Hugs. The one who waits for you does too

Odette67 How true when father time comes we are all alone.
For when father time gives us his final hug good-bye the eternal darkness of life's closing door is entered and life is no more.
So, while we are here let us all embrace life with love and happiness. JimEee

When I was a young lad I walked along the fence tops, jumped and hopped over fire hydrants, chased butterflies and young girls in the fields.
Now as an older man I live in memories lacking the woman companion to share, mine and her experiences together.
Ah! Wherefore Art Thou, my awaiting love?
Hurry as the petals of the rose I have for you are falling off! Lol
