The woman sat wrapped in the blanket, next to her lay the wolf she stroked his fur lovingly and lay her cheek on his back,
she heard his heart beat and felt his breathing and her mind was again dancing with the Man who loved her.
As she sat dreaming the first rays of sun filtered over the mountain and she felt the warm rays on her hand, she stayed still watching and tears welled up in her eyes, as she felt the changes begin under her hand.
She stood and stepped back as he began to change into the Man she loved with all her heart and soul and as he slowly turned to look at her he reached out her hand almost touching him as her eyes grew wide and began to change.
He cried out as he tried to reach her hand, but she was already lifting up into the sky and had become the eagle that by day stayed with the Man who she would love for all time, as he would be the wolf that protected his Lady at night.
Always together never appart, but never able to touch in the same form, they would love until they died.

Beautiful poem, and nice to read.
Achingly beautiful ladyjewel, I just adore this picture, how very fitting for this lovely poem.
What superb poetry: You have rapidly developed into poet whose work I now look out for - and your stunning use of metaphor in this write is a delight.
Kindest regards
Bill
Another fine write, you never disappoint. I love this picture. Eyes of the eagle, they don't miss much my Love, that is why I take that shape. This way I can watch over my lady butterfly, but know, if you ever become lady eagle I will still be there. I don't know, you may well suit those eyes and your plumage would shine so bright that when the sun hit you all would be blinded. This was a good write my love, i'm willing to become your wolf anytime you wish, and you can be the eagle, flying high and watching over the one you love.
Be the eternal eagle, through whose eyes I can see a different world.
Your Michael eternal.
I enjoyed your poem so much. You have a wonderful way of writing. The photo was great as well. Bless U!
