Eagles spinning down
as together they tumble
locked in combat

The stars and the moon
together dance to the sun
worshiping all life
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The chorus of birds
rings out joyfully at dawn
celebrating life
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Waves crash on the shore
foam bubbling as they recede
back to the vast ocean

I love the choice of words
-so simple, yet so effective
painting such realistic images
that I can actually see them
with my mind's eye.
For the last piece
I can hear the sound of the waves
crashing on the shore
and the bubbling of the foam
