Holding Hands
Holding Hands!
Shyly he sneaked his hand in hers
She responded with a tender squeeze
His hand suddenly became alive
His first touch of her and a dream come true
She was his girl, of this he knew
For he could feel she wanted him
It started with her hand holding his
and then a tender kiss or two
He kissed her gently, wouldn’t you?
She did, she kissed him back with tender love
She had found her man by holding hands
And by his touch, knew that he loved her too
Life’s journey starts with such a simple thing
Boy & girl holding hands
Searching for love with a diamond ring
They walked down lover’s lane, hand in hand
May, I hold yours?
