Diana
Author: Unknown
I wonder about myself sometimes
I can have patience like Job
But yet, like sand through the hourglass
It runs out slow but sure.
I can be quite pleasant and nice, faithful and kind
Generous even... sure, I know you couldn't ask
For more.
But treat me unkind, even harsh,
Act like I am not even worthy of your kind
Look but don't see, hear but don't listen
And believe you me the battle will then begin
For I am human with a voice and feelings
I am woman with needs, desires and wants,
Did you think before you opened your mouth,
What is she really about?
Am I just color for your sheet...? NO! Not I!
Am I just an opportunity?
Well at least make it good for you and for me!
To be sure,
Let me tell you this,
Then do please trouble me no more
I love strong and cry deep
I feel your every pain,
Share in your joy
I will stand and fight with you
For you
Never let you down
Nor embarrass you
Especially in a crowd
I am a queen, yours if you let me
And yet be your servant
Your concubine even
I am all and in all to you
For by God I was created
A masterpiece true
But please do not ever
Take me for granted
Underestimate me never
I am all woman
I am strong
On this I am not wrong

Hi Diana
I hope all is well with you. It's good to see a woman stand up like you have in this piece. It reminds me of Helen Reddy's
"I am woman, hear me roar".
Take Care and have a nice day!
