Do You Know

Here i lay vacant
and aged from the
outside.
No one knows what
i have inside.
Come Come closer so
i can tell you the
secrets i behold.
I have been here
for so long.
I have seen so much
throughout my days.
The stories i could
tell you the things
i have heard.
Look at me do you
see history, age or
just blankness as
you can not look
that deep.

We are all more about the inside than the outside, I felt a sadness here.

rob this was about a building that had aged and made me wonder what happened around it. How important it was to the world. Thanks for the comment.applause

Very poignant my dearest friend.

Sometimes people just can't seem to figure out what we know and or how we feel inside but then sometimes, they are too consumed of their own pains, too and can't see our own miseries..I feel that even with my pains, I find it that others might feel worse than I do..

But God bless you and all of us my friend and may you have a very joyful Christmas.
