I'm gonna get her flowers
So she'll know how I feel.

I think I'll buy some roses
Bout a dozen for my sweet.

This will let her know how much
She fills me with desire.

But I could give her sunflowers
They say how I adore,
They let her know I'm loyal too,
And I could give her more.

And what of the carnation,
That means I'm fascinated,
But this is so much more than that,
I'm truly captivated.

No, I will get her roses,
Red ones say it best,
They will tell her this is love,
A kiss will say the rest.
