For Liam

Last night
he threw her picture
out the window
just to hear his heart break..

He remembers
that he was born
the day he met her
died the day
she forsake his love...

He lived
for the time
she loved him..

He has decided
to fill the emptiness
with God and poetry..

He cannot just
turn love off
he still feels it..

"Note to self"
she does not care anymore...

That is so cool for you to write such a poem for Liam. He has personally revealed to me his situation in private, and this poem is spot on. As much as it hurts to hear Liam....his note to self comment nailed it.

I just wish Liam to remember that "Happiness depends upon ourselves." (Aristotle) He has the most precious thing he needs, his poetry, to live it over and come out a happy man, and he will be fine I am sure.

What a coincidence! I thought to myself how interesting this seemed when I said yesterday was Not my finest day.... I had a strange negative feeling in my bones but I can't explain it.
