Heal a Heart/Help a Soul

I asked the Lord my heart to heal
That his great love I might so feel
And then this love that I might share
With lost loved ones for who I care
May this be done before I sleep
Because if not my soul will weep
For what is life without a goal
If not to help a wayward soul
My life and all I give to thee
That this might become reality

About this poem:

I wrote this as much as poetry as it's a prayer to God that he might heal my own heart and enable me to be a beacon of his love to my relatives who have strayed so far from him. I have strayed at times also.
