MY GUY

Several months ago
I let you go
I needed time to be alone
Never did you roam
Instead of using the phone
I thought I'd write you a poem
I knew I was in the right place
The moment I saw your handsome face
For no other man could take your place
For you my heart began to race
When you looked at me
A Hughe smile came to be
For it was you
Who was in my dream
I remember your sweet taste
Your soft lips
I so wanted to trace
As I ran my fingers along your face
I softly let out a weep
Here's the man I want to keep
Everything was fine
Your beautiful eyes met mine
I could feel my heart unwind
As our mouths became intertwined
You felt so devine
I felt like I was on cloud 9
I could feel our passion rise
I could see the twinkle in your eyes
Our love we can not disguise

TOGETHER WERE A PRIZE!

Laura. ...I was gonna post my usual smartass comment on this, but it would be a sin. This is totally beautiful writing and one of, if not your best poems to date. wine purple heart
