Connecting singles poets

Not long ago
I felt so all alone
I had no where to go
I would just wonder and roam
I came on here and read some poems
I then knew I wasn't alone
I read many of a poem
Some of them hit home
Some made me moan
But after reading all your poems
I felt like I found my home
There are many stores to be told
All in the form of a poem
This is now my second home
I've made several wonderful friends
I cherrish each and everyone of you
Everyday through
So I just want to send a big thank you
I'm not afraid to tell you I care
I'm sure each and everyone of you know
Just how dear you are
For each and everyone of you poets
Are like a fine piece of art
And all hold
a special place
In my heart!

Laura, you are so sweet.
I joined this website because it was free and I was looking to "connect". The poetry corner was an added bonus.
I am surprised that there are so few poetry websites ,people also join purely for poetry. Therein lies the crux, I believe.
Without knowing there was a core group, I only know, from day one,
you have praised and encouraged me at every turn. Thank you

Girly, sorry for not being able to answer to all our fellow poet's writings lately as the pain I am going through is beyond me to contain. But having said that, indeed, our brokenness, our low points in life is so well healed by our fellow writer's kind words and sympathy with us. I wouldn't even how I could survive all these hurdles I had with my health (2 cancers) and love busts I have had for the last four years without our loving friends.

Thank you so much for such a well expressed write. To all our fellow poets, readers and writers, thank you all.

Phyllis I'm so sorry to hear about your health issues I hope the cancer is in remission or gone all together ! you will always be in my prayers ! my daughter has a cyst on her brain and soft tissue on her temple she suffers from sever migraines she's also had some per cancer cells removed and she's only 24 years old lots of prayers she's a fighter and I'm sure you are too please try not to stress to much about love and please let your health be most important . My heart goes out to you during these hard times for you! If you ever need a friend please let me know I am always here day or night. Your an awesome woman and I'm honored to call you my friend!!
