World of hurt
The dew glistens moist and wet,
Watering fields of unhappiness,
With Hues of blues and purple regrets,
A rainbow shines sadly in the salty mist,
In a breeze from a sea of lonliness,
So much despair hanging heavy in the air,
Saturating the things living here,
Sands of sadness make the darkest dirt,
A black and twisted twin of earth,
Like I'm stranded in this world of hurt...

We live in a world of never ending hurt, humans killing each other just for the hell of it, I feel a great need to escape. Superb poem Tony.
