The dew glistens moist and wet, Watering fields of unhappiness, With Hues of blues and purple regrets, A rainbow shines sadly in the salty mist, In a breeze from a sea of lonliness, So much despair hanging heavy in the air, Saturating the things living here, Sands of sadness make the darkest dirt, A black and twisted twin of earth, Like I'm stranded in this world of hurt...
Yes, I agree, impressive right, and I for myself can relate, I too am stranded in the sea of loneliness, hues of blues and purple regrets are my colors - great imagery, well done! Thank you, dear poet, for sharing this gem!

A black and twisted twin of earth,
Like I'm stranded in this world of hurt...
We live in a world of never ending hurt, humans killing each other just for the hell of it, I feel a great need to escape. Superb poem Tony.
Things must be bad.
As usual, you're good.
Have you listened to the song, THE LA ST RESORT, by the Eagles?
Love you my brother.
Very well said
