Ireland on my mind

Celtic women..
Pubs and rolling
Mountains plush green
The tension between time
And space is more than I
Can bare
She knows what I know
We know it together
If we sigh it is with the
Eternal breath of hope..
If ever the sea yields to
Her this body of passion
If my hands ever touch the
Cheek of her longing
My whispers shall heal her
Of paradise lost
And we shall make love beneath
The tree of life.

Hi Jim,

I thought I'd passed comment on this one but I must have forgotten to send. So it must have gone along the lines of "you old Romantic you!" But I think it's a very good poem. You certainly haven't lost the Muse and having been to Ireland once I can vouch for your thoughts here. wine

Hello Jim

Glad to see you posting on the Corner again.
I am sure the ladies must be happy to hear from their "knight in shining armour" again.
Hope you connect with your special Celtic Woman.

The Irish have their own unique culture.
Here are two of my favourite Irish items:

I thought I'd made a reply to your comment
but saw I hadn't. Sorry for that bro.
Sometimes my doctor makes me drink motor
oil and it tends to make me forgetful.
So I switched to drinking swamp water
and I feel so much better now. Lol.

I missed commenting on your comment as
well dear. There is no excuse for this
so I've admitted myself to the dungeon
and will not be allowed to be released
until I eat the big fat rat with the
flashing green eye. And three cheers
to the hangman. Lol
