I can see you in my mind, but one cannot hold, why are you difficult to find, my eyes understand but my heart cannot be told,
My body quakes with potential fear, heart throbbing deeply within, wishing deeply that you were near, my mind tells me its just another whim,
Lying in bed tossing and turning, wrapping my legs within the sheets, feeling the very heat of this yearning, then the alarm clock starts its bleeps,
Love is a very powerful drug, awakened in time and still alone, why did that clock have to give morpheus tug, one cannot even call on the phone.

About this poem:
When one desires another love the feelings within become so strong that we even imagine a potential lover. This alone tells me that deep inside of me there is more to give another in this span of life.
