Nickels And Dimes

He was at the table
Threatened for the cards he played
Over nickels and dimes

The tips that he gave were always kind of small
When a bid was made
He had to make the call

And when the operator came on the line
She said sir
Can't you Get it in your mind

She will never talk to you
This should be clear
And now there's a silence in here

They want to show him to the door
And tell him to go
To where the sun never shines

And while some have it all
He always takes the fall
Over nickels and dimes
